River Edge Music Garden and Blues Island Restoration won the American Public Works Association, Chicago Metro Chapter Project of the Year. The 2014 award was presented to the City of Aurora in the category range of $5M but less than $25M. R.C. Wegman oversaw the construction management of River Edge Park which includes a bike path, the Dunham Stage, sound tower, pavilion and the restoration of Blues Island.
